What the service is
#French Exam Alert checks the public web pages of TEF Canada and TCF Canada test centres and emails you when something changes, such as a new session, returned seats, a registration window or a waitlist. We also publish free guides and tools.
The service is free. We may change, pause or stop parts of it at any time.
No guarantee of a seat
#- Alerts are informational only. Seats can be gone by the time you open the email.
- We can only see what centres publish on their public websites. Some release seats by email, in person or on social media.
- Checks can fail or be delayed, for example when a centre changes its website or an email is held up.
- Dates, fees and rules on our site may be out of date. Always confirm on the centre’s official page before you pay or travel.

Booking and payment
#French Exam Alert never books seats, holds places or takes payments. You book and pay directly with the test centre, under the centre’s own terms, including its refund rules. Fees are usually non-refundable once you register.
We will never ask for your passport details or payment information. If someone claiming to be us does, don’t share them.
We’re independent
#French Exam Alert is not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), France Éducation international (FEI), Le français des affaires (CCI Paris Île-de-France), any Alliance Française, Institut français or other test centre. Exam names are used only to describe what we monitor.
Not immigration advice
#Our guides and tools explain official rules in plain English, based on IRCC and exam-provider sources. They aren’t legal or immigration advice. Rules change, so check IRCC’s website or speak to a licensed professional for decisions about your application.
Your part
#- Sign up only with an email address you own.
- Don’t misuse the service: no automated sign-ups, scraping our site at high volume, or trying to break or overload it.
- Don’t use our alerts to resell seats or book on other people’s behalf for a fee.
We may pause or remove accounts that break these rules.
Stopping alerts
#You can stop alerts at any time with the one-click unsubscribe link in any email, or manage your watches in My alerts. To delete your account, use “Delete my account” in My alerts, or email [email protected]. See our privacy policy for how we handle your data.
Limits on our liability
#The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t responsible for missed seats, exam fees, travel costs, immigration outcomes or any other loss that comes from using, or not being able to use, the service.
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be excluded.
Changes to these terms
#We may update these terms. When we do, we’ll change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using the service after that, the new terms apply.
