TCF Canada writing is 3 tasks in 60 minutes: Task 1 is a short message (60–120 words), Task 2 an article or blog post about an experience (120–150 words), and Task 3 compares two opposing documents and gives your opinion (120–180 words). You manage the hour yourself, so our 10 / 20 / 30 minute split for single tasks is a suggestion, not an official rule.
TEF Canada writing is 60 minutes in two sections: Section A, 25 minutes, continue a news article in at least 80 words; Section B, 35 minutes, express and justify a point of view in at least 200 words.
Spellcheck is off by default because the real exam has none. We count words the usual way: anything between spaces is one word, so c’est counts once. Your draft stays in this browser only; we never see it and we don’t mark it.

60 minutes for all three tasks. There is no fixed time per task, so plan your own split. A common approach is to leave the most time for Task 3, the longest.
